Welding Principle:

The hot plate welding machine primarily joins plastic parts using a temperature-controlled heating plate. During welding, the heating plate is placed between the two plastic components. When the workpieces press against the heating plate, the plastic begins to melt. After a preset heating time, the surface plastic reaches a sufficient melting point. At this stage, the workpieces separate, and the heating plate retracts. The two parts are then pressed together, and the pressure is maintained for a few seconds after heating stops to allow solidification. This process forms a strong molecular bond, achieving a weld seam that can exceed the strength of the base material. The entire welding cycle is thus completed.

Welding Characteristics:

• The transmission system is driven by pneumatic, hydraulic, or servo motors.

• Suitable for workpieces of various sizes with no area limitations.

• Applicable to any welding surface without special requirements (e.g., flat or curved surfaces).

• Allows for plastic material compensation at the welding interface, ensuring strong weld strength.

• Fixtures can be used for shaping during welding, reducing strict demands on product deformation tolerance.

• Simple welding process (primarily controlled by temperature, time, and depth parameters).

• Excellent post-weld airtightness of the product.
