Working principle:

When ultrasound is acting on the contact surface of thermoplastics, it'll generates high-frequency vibrations at tens of thousands of times per second, this high-frequency vibration of a certain amplitude, and ultrasonic energy is transmitted to the welding area through ultrasonic horn. Due to the high ultrasound resistance at the two welding surfaces,localized high temperatures are generated. And because of the poor thermal conductivity of the plastic, the thermal energy can not be dissipated in a timely manner, gathered in the welding wire, resulting in the rapid melting of the two plastic contact surfaces, combined with a certain pressure, so that they are welded together. When the ultrasound stops working, the pressure is kept for a few seconds to solidify, so that a strong molecular chain is formed for the welding purpose, and the strength of the weld can be close to the original body.
